How To Enable Wi-Fi Tethering on Verizon Nexus 6 without any Root
Wi-Fi tethering is the feature which will allow you to share your internet connection with your friends and family. You might be wondering why I am writing this as it’s very easy to enable Wi-Fi tethering in normal android phones. The reason is that Verizon Nexus 6 is not allowing the users to share their internet connection with others. It’s a violation on doing so on Nexus 6 Verizon variant.

How To Enable Wi-Fi Tethering on Verizon Nexus 6 without any Root
Step 1: Head over to Settings > More > Cellular Networks > Turn off Enhanced 4F LTE Mode
Step 2: Now you need to connect your Nexus 6 with the Wi-fi or mobiel data. Now, you need to remove the SIM card from the phone using the SIM extracting tool you have got with the phone.
Step 3: Once you remove the SIM card you need to go to the Settings > More > Tethering and portable hotspot
Step 4: Now you need to setup the Wi-Fi hotspot, choose a name alond with a password
Step 5: Now, you need to tap on the “portable Wi-Fi hotspot” to create the Wi-Fi tethering
Step 6: Now you need to insert the SIM card to your Verizon Nexus 6
Voila !!! You have sucessfully activated the Wi-Fi tethering on your Nexus 6. It will stop once you stop it. However, if you decide to stop you need to go through the same process again, if you want to activate Wi-Fi tethering again. (Source)
