How to Install TWRP Custom Recovery on Nvidia Shield Tablet
- Download the TWRP File from above link. Now save it into the desktop and unzip the package .
- Take a proper USB cable to connect your Nvidia Shield to the computer
- Now go to the folder where you have kept the recovery.img file
- Now open a command window from that folder by doing this press & hold shift key on the keyboard and right click on any empty space
- While the cmd window appears, type L “adb reboot bootloader” – your Nvidia Shield tablet will reboot into the bootloader mode
- Now, type “fastboot devices” . You will see that your Nvidia SHield table tis listed in the cmd window. However, if you don’t see it appearing in the list, you are requested to reinstall the USB drivers again and follow the steps from above
- Now we are able to flash TWRP recovery by using this code : “fastboot flash recovery recovery.img”
- installation process will start. When the recovery process is finished , press : “fastboot boot recovery.img”
- Now you are in recovery mode
- While in the recover mode, you need to press ” reboot ” to go to your Android OS.
