How to Install CyanogenMod 12.1 on Yu Yureka
Yu Yureka is created with a partnership with Cyanogen. As a result it comes with CyanogenMod ROM. When it was launched it came with android kitkat 4.4. However, they have rolled out Android 5.0.2 CyanogenMod 12S ROM with new features and awesome improvements in performance.
CM12S is based on Android 5.0.2 but not in Android 5.1 Lollipop. There are no news about when Yu Yureka will get the official Android 5.1 Lollipop update. How to Install CyanogenMod 12.1 on Yu Yureka
Step 1: Connect your phone to the computer. Now, place the downloaded files (ROM & Gapps) on the root of the storage
Step 2: Now turn off your Yu Yureka and boot into the recovery mode
Step 3: Let’s take a full backup in case anything goes wrong.
Step 4: Now wipe data & cache
Step 5: Now Flash CyanogenMod 12.1 zip file and then Android 5.1 Gapps
Step 6: Now reboot your phone
Step 7: When the phone reboots it will be running on 5.1 CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM experience on Yu Yureka.
