How to Root Xperia Z Ultra C6802 on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop

How to Root Xperia Z Ultra C6802 on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop build 14.5.A.0.242

Step 1: At-first you have to transfer the  SuperSU beta file to your Xperia Z Ultra’s internal storage. Please remember the location as we will need this.

Step 2: Now download and install ADB on your computer

Step 3: Now download Sony Drivers and install them on your computer

Step 4: Enable USB Debugging on Xperia Z  Ultra. In order to do that navigate to Settings > About Phone and then tap on the build number seven times. Now you will see USB debugging option. Check it

Step 5: Now connect Sony Xperia Z Ultra to computer. Now accept the connection on your phone about the USB debuggin when you see the pop up

Step 6: Now you have to extract the DooMKernel V22 file to get a boot.img

Step 7: Navigate to the boot.img folder

Step 8: Now open a command window. Just click on an empty space inside the folder then pres SHIFT + Right click, then select Open Command Windows here from the drop down menu

Step 9: Now a CMD window will open with the destination set to the folder where you have the boot.img file

Step 10: Now enter to the fastboot mode on your phone. While connected to PC just type following command prompt and press enter

adb reboot fastboot

Step 11: If you see a blue LED light on your Xperia Z Ultra then it is in fastboot mode

Step 12: Now boot the phone into the TWRP recovery by typing and entering following code

fastboot boot bot.img

Step 13: The fastboot will use boot.img from PC folder to boot the phone into recovery mode and open in the TWRP recovery

Step 14: Now create a backup in the recovery mode. To do that click on the Backup option

Step 15: Now Flash SuperSU beta file on Xperia Z Ultra. Now return to the main recovery menue and then select SuperSU file and then do a swipe on the Swipe to Confirm Flash option

Step 16: When the installation is completed, reboot your phone and then Tap on the Reboot >> System

Your Sony Xperia Z ultra is rooted now with a stock kernel & recovery in custom version. You should be able to get OTA notifications.

I am not able to use adb commands! Whenver i press enter after entering the command i.e adb reboot fastboot it shows up

“adb is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file”

Please help me out!
I tried to fix it by doing the environmental variables thing! But couldnt do it!
Please reply asap?
Or
Is there any other method which does not require to get into command prompts and stuff ?
