How to Install TWRP Recovery On Samsung Galaxy Trend
Samsung Galaxy Trend is a mid range Android phone with lots of features. You offers decent performance via decent specs and features. This android phone is not going to receive anymore OTA updates hence in order to get new fellings or to install new custom ROMs you need to install TWRP and then install custom ROMs.
Right after installing TWRP recovery you can tweak your Galaxy trend, or you can root your Galaxy Trend and install custom ROMs for Galaxy Trend.
Important Notes:
- Your warranty will void if you do this process
- Take a backup of your important data as a wipe might be performed during the TWRP recovery installation. Odin will be used also
- Use cloud apps to take backup if needed
- Temporarily deactivate the antivirus of your computer as this might interfere with the installation process
- Charge your Galaxy Trend at least 70%
- Enable USB debugging options . TO do that Gain Developer rights by going to the Menu> About phone . Then tap several times on the built number then go to Menu>Settings> Developer options . Now enable the USB debugging option.
- This process is only for he Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7390 & GT-S7392. Doing this process on any other device would brick that device

How to Install TWRP Recovery On Samsung Galaxy Trend
Step 1: At first you have to download and extract the TWRP file on your computer
Step 2: Make sure you have downloaded and installed the Odin and Samsung Kies
Step 3: Let’s do this. Turn off your phone and wait for few minutes to be sure that it is turned off. Now reboot the phone in download mode by pressing and holding the Power, Volume down & home buttons at the same time.
Step 4: Launch ODIN in your computer and connect your Galaxy Trend with computer via USB cable
Step 5: After connecting Odin will show “Added” message in it and ID:COM field will be either Yellow or blue
Step 6: Now in the program click on PA option. After that load the TWRP recovery file
Step 7: Now, select the “Start” and patiently wait for the custom recovery image to be automatically flashed on Galaxy Trend
Step 8: Right after seeing “Pass” message you can remove the USB cable and reboot Samsung Galaxy Trend
Step 9: Just in case “If” a boot loop occurs then go to the Recovery mode and select “Wipe Data Factory Reset” and “wipe cache partition” . Then go back to Android OS by choosing the ” Reboot System Now”. See How to Go Recovery Mode on Android
Step 9: Just in case if the Odin gets while flashing TWRP recover, you should close the Odin, disconnect phone from computer, force restart phone and re-install proper USB drivers on your computer. After that do the same process once again.
Now you have TWRP installed in your Galaxy Trend. You can tweak your phone, root, install custom ROMs.
