Install CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM for Asus Zenfone 2 (Android 5.1.1 Lollipop)
Asus Zenfone 2 has become very popular for the users and developers. Android developers are really liking Asus Zenfone 2. A member named crpalmer has made the CyanogenMod 12.1 available for the Asus Zenfone 2. By installing it you can updaate to the Android 5.1.1 lollipop. It gives you the stock performance with extra many features like theme engine, AudioFX, USB OTG, Wifi tethering and many more.
Note that this CyanogenMod 12.1 is still not official. This is an unofficial build created by the tech enthusiasts who don;t have nay affiliation with the CyanogenMod team. This is in early stages and might have working issue . Some of the features might not be working right now.

How to Install CyanogenMod 12.1 Android 5.1.1 ROM On Zenfone 2
Download:
CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM
x86 Gapps
1. At first download the file above and store it in your phone
2. Now install twrp recovery in your Asus Zenfone 2 Ze551ML
3. Now turn off your phone and then boot into the recovery
4. Do a full backup of your current ROM
5. Wipe data and perform a factory reset
6. Now flash the CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM and do same for Google Apps
Right after flashing both these file restart your phone. And then you will get the Android 5.1.1 lollipop experience in your Asus Zenfone 2. Note that you should flash the Gapps before the ROM. If your phone crashes at the first boot then just reboot the phone and everything will work fine.
