Download TWRP recovery AT&T LG G2 For Lollipop 5.0 [D800]
Do you have an AT&T LG G2 D600 to Lollipop then most probably you have broken the TWRP recovery.
Installing TWRP back again is not that easy. Even it has been reported that installing via the impressive AutoRec is soft bricking devices.
However, we have got an idea or way to help you to get TWRP back on your Lollipop LG G2 very easily.
Tutorial Note:
- You need to downgrade to Android 4.4 for this
- After downgradin we will install TWRP 4.4
- Then install Android 5.0 via a custom ROM which will have both Lollipop & TWRP into LG G2 D800
Important Note:
- Doing this will void any warranty
- You are doing this at your own risk
- Charge your phone atleast 70%
- Double check that it have to be LG G2’s model no. is D800. If it is not D800 then this tutorial is not for you. Doing this on other model might brick that device. Use at your own risk
Download TWRP recovery AT&T LG G2 For Lollipop 5.0 [D800]
- Download & install LG Drivers
- Now Download LG Flashtool
- Download 4.4 firmware file
- Download dll file
- Use flashtool to install 4.4 firmwae to your G2 (detailed guide)
- Once your LG G2 is in 4.4 kitkat, use this app to root your phone TowelRoot app
- Once you root it download the TWRP file and transfer it to the LG G2
- Now, install Flashify app, open it and give root access to it
- Now use it’s install recovery option and choose TWRP to install
- Once you do these, you need to download a lollipop based custom ROM for LG G2
- Then install that using TWRP on your LG G2
